Market and competition analysis

Market analysis – To scan through primary and secondary data sources (ACMA/ SIAM/ CRISIL reports), media news as well as presentations by various consultants like PwC, E&Y, etc.) to help us present various trends affecting each vertical (PV, CV, 2 wheeler, 3 wheeler, tractor, off-highway, etc.) and the impact on Tata AutoComp (new products/ technology we must invest, opportunities and threats, etc.), opportunities arising at each OEM – future models, volume forecast, etc. Detail SWOT and PESTAL analysis based on the same at Taco level.

Competition analysis – To scan current and future competition at Tata AutoComp level with detailed analysis and their future. Competition’s plan customer-wise / product-wise. Detailed SWOT and PESTAL analysis based on the same at Taco level. Also, to work with BUs for competition analysis at the product level for current products.

Commodity Trend and Its impact

To analyze commodity trend month on month and its impact to us BU wise

Alignment with BUs and central purchase to correction which we need to give to suppliers and corrections need to ask accordingly from customers – BU wise. Ensuring without receiving corrections from customers not to give to suppliers.

Tracking and ensuring each BU (Purchase and BD) is aligned with the impact analysis and working on achieving a positive impact for the company.

Skills:

  • We would prefer students with an Engineering background plus MBA in Marketing.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
