Following is the Survey of India Eligibility Criteria for Motor Driver-Mechanic post
- Candidates should pass the 10th standard with knowledge of Hindi/ English.
- The candidates should possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light vehicles.
Age Limit: 18-27 years for general category applicants and 18-32 years of age in case of SC/ ST candidates and 18-30 years for other backward classes as on 31st May 2023.
Salary: Selected candidates will get a salary in the Pay Matrix Level – 2 (Rs.19900 – Rs.63200) and other allowances as admissible
Selection Process: The selection process for the post will be through a Test and Practical/ Skill Test for assessment of actual knowledge of Motor Driving and its maintenance/ repair.
